Instrumental Music Spring Recital

CoSA strings ensemble will be performing two "very difficult" pieces, according to Director Matt Heinecke. "Dohnanyi Serenade and Bach Trio Sonata are challenging, but worth the effort."

The woodwind ensemble will focus on works by Handel and Mozart.

Jazz and Advanced Jazz are ready with a tune called "Poinciana" and the Jungle Book Theme, a "very noir arrangement!" as described by coach Danny Green.

Guitar ensemble  is playing Led Zeppelin's Stairway to Heaven. We never get tired of that one! Piano will feature works by Chopin and Kahlau, and the brass ensemble's repertoire is being kept as a surprise.

Don't miss this evening of classical music interspersed with dark jazz and upbeat brass -- sure to be a lovely interlude in your week!
